Everything Flowr does. And everything it doesn’t.

Most of the product is on every plan. What is gated is gated because it costs us money or only makes sense across several projects — not to make the cheap tier uncomfortable.

Project delivery

The spine, and it is on every plan. Solo runs one project end to end — the lifecycle is not the thing we hold back.

A submitted Flowr status report for Infrastructure Modernisation, August 2026. Overall status On Track with a chip showing the previous period was Minor. The narrative states the project is at week 15 of 22, that budget is amber because logged time is awaiting validation, and that four risks and three issues are open. Below, separate ratings for Scope, Budget, Planning, Resources and Quality, each with its own paragraph.
A status report as the project team submitted it. The chip under the status is the previous period, so a project quietly slipping from amber to green to amber cannot do it unnoticed.

Financial control

Reconstructible figures. Every euro traces to recorded time, a rate in force on that date, and a period closed on a specific day.

People and time

Time is the input to cost, so it is treated as a financial record rather than a convenience.

Governance

Flowr's organisation-wide Problems page. Counters show four open risks, two high risks, three open issues and one open request for change. The register lists four risks grouped under IT Portfolio and Core Systems Programme, each with a category, a score badge from six High down to two Low, an owner, an Open status and review dates.
Every risk and issue in the organisation on one page, scored on the threshold you set. Grouped by portfolio and programme, because that is how they get escalated.

Your records outlive your plan.

The rule, written into the product rather than the terms of service:

A plan may prevent creating, regenerating, changing or publishing a gated artefact. It must not prevent you from reading historical content you created while you were entitled to create it.

Kept, forever

Closed periods and their snapshots, published business reviews — and unpublished drafts — and any portfolio digest you generated. Downgrade and you stop making new ones. You never stop reading the old ones.

Removable, always

An EAC override keeps moving your reported figure. A routed leave request keeps blocking the person who made it. Anything that carries on acting after your plan lapses can still be removed without paying again — being able to see it but not clear it is worse than never having had it.

What Flowr does not do.

Some of these are deliberate and will not change. Some are simply not built yet. Ask which is which — we will tell you.

No PDF export of a business reviewStatus reports do export to PDF. A published review is read in-app or via the JSON export.
Notifications are in-app onlyNo email, Slack or Teams delivery. The preference is refused rather than silently accepted.
No SSO, SAML, SCIM or MFA policyAssessed and deliberately deferred until a customer needs it. Social sign-in via Google and Microsoft works today.
No currency conversionA multi-currency portfolio is reported per currency. A made-up exchange rate is worse than two honest numbers.
Dependency lag is not modelled“Start three days after X finishes” schedules as start-immediately-after. Finish-to-finish links warn without constraining.
Resource levelling is project-localSomeone over-committed across two projects is not levelled between them. Each forecast is internally consistent and jointly optimistic.
Business reviews are organisation-wideNo portfolio- or programme-scoped review yet.
One sign-in belongs to one organisationAccess to two Flowr organisations needs two accounts. There is no organisation switcher.
Recovery window is seven daysPoint-in-time restore is rehearsed — 4 minutes 6 seconds at test volume — but long-term retention is off.
No SOC 2 or ISO 27001We do not hold either, and will not imply otherwise.

See it against your own projects.

Tell us what you run and we’ll tell you honestly whether Flowr fits it yet.
